Why this blog…

A former boss and great friend, happens to be an expert on blood disorders and runs America’s Blood Centers, (americasblood.org) the association for independent blood banks in this country.  He is brilliant, kind, and an enormously helpful friend when you have a blood disorder, which lymphoma is.  When I was first diagnosed, we communicated primarily through emails and he suggested writing a blog to help keep my friends up to date, and to help others that might be going through something similar.

As it turns out, writing has helped me get through a tough time and I hope that my thoughts might resonate with others who might be struggling through chemotherapy and all that it demands.
